Secondary schools

Secondary transfer process starts during Year 5. We encourage parents of pupils who are Year 5 to start to organise visits to potential secondary schools, to see which school is suitable for your child.

At the end of Year 5 parents are invited into school as part of the annual review and parent conversation to discuss your child's progress, needs and options for secondary school.

During Autumn term when your child starts Year 6, parents will be asked to give their choice for secondary school. This preference is considered but is not always possible.
