‘The Castle Wood Study’ Abraham Maslow said that ‘it is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail.’  At Castle Wood we want our children to achieve the best possible outcomes and this cannot happen if there is only one tool in the box.  We have blended a number of approaches and strategies to ensure our children have no ceiling on their learning.

Ofsted visited us in January 2015 and judged us outstanding in all areas.  Since then we have welcomed many leaders and practitioners to take a closer look at what Ofsted termed our ‘innovative’ practice.  Building on this we are introducing ‘the Castle Wood Study’, an opportunity to see aspects of our principles, pedagogy and practice in a more bespoke manner.

What is included in ‘The Castle Wood Study’ package? Focus: You will identify the focus of your visit.
