I am currently Assistant Head. My teaching career includes both Special and Mainstream schools and I have taught across Key Stages 1 and 2. I am a trained Reading Recovery teacher, a Pupil Premium Reviewer and hold NPQSL.  I also hold a postgraduate qualification with Northampton University looking at Studies in Education for Pupils with SLD and PMLD. As Assistant Head I lead on interventions, Literacy, pupil progress, assessment, transferring Statements of Special Educational Needs to EHCPs, outreach, transition into school and to secondary schools and act as a gatekeeper with external agencies.  My SLE specialism is assessment, Literacy and SEND.
